However, I wanted to write a blog today about working in 45 degrees heat is. Well it’s horrible 🙂 considering a true real estate professional loves their suit and it is considered your uniform of the trade!
Now I have been in Dubai for a while and don’t mind the heat. However I urge owners of real estate property to not risk losing out on potential buyers because of the heat.
I had a viewing today on the Palm Jumeirah. The property I was supposed to show was a beautiful Central Gallery European Signature Villa. Upon our arrival to the villa, it was quite apparent there was no air conditioning. Subonsciously it affected my buyers mentality who was too hot and agitated to go through and truely enjoy the villa for what it was. Instead of being able to take their time, enjoy every corner of the house, the view and more importantly imagining where their furniture could go, my buyers simply went in and out.
It is fair to say that I doubt they would purchase the place because their mood had been affected by the heat and to not have any air conditioning in the villa didn’t help.
On that note I would like to request all owners to please connect the air conditioning in your villa during the summer season, you will have more chance to sell your villa as potential buyer will spend far more time in your place, will enjoy the coolness, have have the time to take in the beauty of where they are, and in turn place an offer on your place without suffering from a heat stroke!!! 🙂
Signing off to meet a return customer for a cup of coffee in a cool cafe
